Guidelines for Visitors
Visitors can help to lift patients' spirits and speed their recovery. Though we encourage visitation for these reasons, we want to be sure our patients get plenty of rest as well. Visitors are encouraged to be considerate by keeping their stays short and limited to the appropriate times.
Hours
Jamestown Regional Medical Center's visiting hours are from 9:00a.m. until 9:00p.m. Under certain circumstances, our nurses will determine whether it is in the best interest of the patient to have visitors. We ask that patients have no more than three (3) visitors at one time.
Phone Calls
No phone calls may be placed to patient rooms between the hours of 9pm and 7am.
Children Visitors
Age for Visiting
We ask that children visiting the hospital be at least 12 years old, and that all children be attended by an adult. This is for the safety and protection of our patients and the children.
Isolation Room
Precautions
If you are visiting a patient in an Isolation Room we request that you adhere to the precautions listed on the patient's door. These precautions are for the safety of the patient, the staff, and the visitors. If you have any questions about these precautions, please ask a staff member for assistance.
